Mission & Vision

Trabajadores Unidos Workers United (TUWU) is a regional Bay Area immigrant worker center that stands at the intersection of economic racial justice and immigrant rights.

TUWU believes in upholding the power of working-class immigrants through forging class consciousness and growing the leadership of low-wage immigrant workers. TUWU seeks to abolish workplace exploitation through organizing, political education, and direct action that shifts power to the hands of the working class.

Our Vision

We envision a Bay Area where immigrant workers collectively fight for and win dignity and respect, effectively transforming their workplace and region. Through organizing and political education, we challenge economic racial injustice and build bargaining power to support workers in their struggle for a dignified workplace.
