Marcos joined TUWU because they believe that an organized movement rooted in the working class is unstoppable in the face of oppression. Being raised by Mexican-immigrant parents and having organized their workplace in the past, Marcos’ lived experience naturally drew them towards the powerful values of TUWU’s mission.
Marcos’ hope is for TUWU to continue to empower working class and immigrant communities in the Bay Area through collective organizing and political education.
