Lucas joined TUWU to build immigrant working class power and leadership in East Oakland. He believes that his working-class immigrant neighbors, tapped into their labor power, can ensure our communities’ dignity and wellbeing
Lucas’ hope is that by contributing to a thriving worker center at TUWU, he can support the everyday leaders creating those conditions now.
